Recently I migrated this very blog from Wordpress to Hugo. It wasn’t a hard task, nor it was a very long one - but still I encountered some challenges, so I decided to document that. Plus when a change like this happens, some explanation is needed anyway.
IDs sometimes need to be made public - be it for use in links, WebAPI requests, or in-app referencing. For a long while now I kept telling everyone around to avoid sequential IDs if possible. And in this blog post I aim to explain why.
As a gamer, I have to recommend a game. There are many games worth recommendation, and everyone has different preferred games style. However, there’s one game I’d recommend to anyone: Ultimate Chicken Horse.
I’m not really a reviewer, so I won’t explain everything, but first things first…
I was putting this show off for a long time. I really disliked how hyped it is. For some reason I hated how everyone is talking about it.
However, this summer I decided to catch up. I was fed up with spoilers all over the place - it was really hard to avoid them. Honestly, spoiling shows and films on purpose/without warning should be against the law, but unfortunately it isn’t, so it was about time to watch this thing.
Now, I’m not good at reviews, so I might not talk about everything I should. Treat this post (and all other IMO posts) as just opinions and thoughts rather than a comprehensive review.
I was never a blogging person, but since I put this blog up (for reasons described below), it may as well have at least one post.
Recently I bought a domain (tehgm.net). Since then, I was browsing internet for ideas what to do with it. Many people posted about perks of owning a domain - claiming your online presence, hosting a blog or URL shortener, to name a few. But I haven’t seem many unique ideas.
This is where I realized that the fact of me browsing ideas is one benefit of owning a domain that most people don’t talk about - it gives me a reason to do something.
